The Benchrest Matches
APRIL 3, 2021
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
Competition begins at 9:00 a.m.
Again this year we will be holding both Rimfire and Centerfire Benchrest Matches concurrently. Rimfire and Center fire matches will be scored separately. Competitors may shoot in both matches, though it is not necessary to do so.
Equipment: Any rifle in any caliber, no restrictions on optics. Beginning this year, you may use both front and rear rests, but not a sled-type one-piece rest. Bi pods, sandbags, commercial or improvised rests are permitted. We will have rests and sandbags available to use if you don’t have your own.
In the Centerfire division, any rifle below .50 calibers is eligible. In the Rimfire
Division, all Rimfire calibers , including, but not limited to, .22 short, long or long rifle, .22 magnum, .17 HMR, .17 Mach 2 may be used.
Course of fire: Unlimited SIGHTER shots, and twenty shots for record on a round bulls eye target, in a total of 15 minutes. A tie-breaking round will be shot if necessary.
It is recommended that you bring at least forty rounds of ammunition per match/rifle.
The Centerfire match will be shot at 100 yards. The Rimfire match will be shot at 50 yards.
Both matches will be held on the rifle range
Entry fee is $10 per match.
Entry fee juniors (9-15) $5.00 per match
Prizes will be awarded to the top three competitors in each match.

D-DAY TRIBUTE MATCH
AT ST. JOSEPH COUNTY RESTORATION CLUB

This will be our 15th annual D-DAY Match. We hold this Match to pay tribute to our WWII Veterans.
This match will be held on the rifle range, rain or shine. We will be shooting 50-100 yd.
This match will consist of 30 rounds fired for score. Maximum score will be 300 points.
Entry fee is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 (9-15) for juniors.
There will be a time limit of 5 min. for semi auto and 6 min. for bolt action.
If you go over there will be a 10 point penalty. In order to keep things moving along, there will be a 10 min. time limit per shooter.
WEAPONS TYPE --- Weapons must be WWII type original or reproduction in as issued configuration (no sporterised weapons please) and design prior to 1946.
Weapons can be any nationality.
EQUIPMENT --- Slings, Shooting Coats, Gloves are allowed.
Bi-Pods not allowed (exceptions made for some of the older shooters)
Spotting Scopes not allowed. Please feel free to dress in WWII era uniforms.
TARGETS --- Targets will be steel knock down plates, pepper poppers and one SR-1 paper target.
AMMO --- Bring at least 30 rounds of ammo (no armor piercing ammo please) Bring clips, stripper clips, ammo pouch, belt, etc. (there will be some available to borrow)
AWARDS --- There will be medals presented to the top 3 marksmen, also medal for high women shooter (must have at least 2 women shooters to be eligible) along with medal for high junior shooter.
Empty chamber indicators, eye & ear protection is required.
In the event of a tie your time will be the tie breaker.

Speed kills, but not in this competition! The object in this match will be to knock down bowling pins/poppers in the least amount of time.
EQUIPMENT: We will have 2 Divisions: Open & Iron Sights
Open Sights: Any Center fire pistol using Red Dot, Laser, Acog, etc.
Iron Sights: Any Center fire pistol with iron sights
(ALL Pistols- Center fire capable of knocking down bowling pins/poppers any size magazine-- NO RIMFIRES!!)
TARGETS: Bowling pins, Poppers.
AMMO: 100 rounds or more (if you miss a lot)
You can shoot in both divisions. We will shoot the course of fire 2 times and take your quickest time for scoring.
Metals for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd will be awarded in ALL 2 Divisions.
Metal for High Woman-(as long as there at are least 2 competitors)
Metal for High Junior

THE RIMFIRE RIFLE AND PISTOL
SILHOUETTE MATCHES

Competition begins at 9:00 a.m.
The Rifle and Pistol matches will be scored separately. It is not mandatory for competitors to shoot in both matches.
Each match will be $10.00
Each match will be $5.00 for Junior shooters (9-15)
Equipment: Rimfire Pistol and Rifle, in caliber .22 short, long, or long rifle. To prevent damage to the targets, NO .22 magnum/hyper velocity .22 long rifle. (high velocity .22LR is okay). No restrictions on overall weight of rifles or pistols. Any trigger not subject to accidental discharge allowed.
Any sights, telescopic, metallic, or electronic may be used on both Rifles and Pistols. No lasers.
No shooting coats
No padded gloves
No palm rests
50 rounds of ammo should do for both rifle & pistol. You will have 16 rounds at your shooting station, additional ammo will only be allowed for misfires.
Course of Fire: 16 targets per shooter.
Each will be an assortment of steel silhouette targets. They must be hit clean, (meaning: fall of the rack.)
You will have 15 minutes to knock down as many as you can. There will be a shoot off in case of a tie.
All Pistol targets will be at 25 yards.
All Rifle targets will be at 50 yards.
Both matches are on the Rifle Range.
Metals for the top three competitors in both Rifle & Pistol.
Metal for top Woman (as long as there are at least 2 contestants.)
Metal for top Junior

COURSE
OF FIRE:
SHOOT
DOWN ALL METAL & BOWLING PIN TARGETS IN THE LEAST AMOUNT OF TIME.
TIME WILL BE TIE BREAKER. 12 MINUTE TIME LIMIT. 5 SECONDS ADDED TO TIME FOR
MISSED TARGETS.
